When you need to feed a crowd without spending all day in the kitchen, beef sliders are hard to beat. They’re simple, filling, and a great way to stretch a pound of quality ground beef into an easy meal everyone enjoys.
Having ground beef in your freezer makes recipes like this stress-free. Whether it’s game day, a family get-together, or a busy weekend, sliders come together quickly with ingredients you probably already have on hand.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- Salt and pepper
- Hawaiian Rolls
- Cheese slices
- Optional toppings: pickles, onions, sauces
- Butter, melted
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F and line a sheet pan with parchment paper.
- Press the ground beef evenly across the sheet pan, spreading it out to roughly match the size of the Hawaiian rolls. Season with salt and pepper.
- Bake for 15–18 minutes, until the beef is fully cooked.
- While the beef cooks, slice the Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally, keeping them together as one slab.
- Remove the beef from the oven and carefully slide it off the parchment paper onto the bottom half of the rolls.
- Layer sliced cheese over the beef.
- Place the top half of the rolls on top and brush generously with melted butter.
- Return to the oven for 5–7 minutes, until the cheese is melted and the tops are lightly golden.
- Slice and serve warm.
A Note on the Beef
Recipes like this really shine when you start with quality ground beef. Ours is intentionally blended using the entire rump roast, which adds natural marbling and flavor — not just leftover trim. That difference shows up in simple recipes like sliders.
